Ages 5-12 The children will be exposed to different artists and styles. They will select a specific artist that resonates with them and over the period of a week, they will create contemporary interpretations of the artist's work on objects, clothing and recycled materials. Each day a different medium will be used allowing the student to create a unique collection of work inspired by choice and exploration of expression. About  Pascale Beregovoi-Davis Pascale is originally from the United Kingdom where she studied Art and Design at the renowned St Martins School of Arts. She has lived in the U.S since 1995. Pascale has over ten years experience working with children in educational settings in London, Vermont, and Key West. Her specialists include the Arts, Music, and the natural outdoor environment. Over the years, Pascale has strived to develop a love for learning in the children that she teaches. She has considerable experience working with a wide range of families from diverse cultural backgrounds and is bilingual, speaking French and English. Pascale is a Lead Directress at the  Montessori Children's School of Key West and is passionate about ensuring that children's individual needs and interests are catered to in the learning environment. Camp Details In addition to registering online we will require a more detailed form for emergency purposes. The ARTCAMP! 2016 registration form can be found on the Key West Art and Historical Society website at Camp commences at 9:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm. Each week the children will enjoy a field trip to a local museum or venue associated with the camps theme. To ensure the comfort of your child throughout the day, we have included a list of essentials. Please pack these items in a beach bag that can be left at the camp. The bags will be kept in a designated storage area that the children will have access to. It is important that all items are labelled with your child's name. Snacks will be provided; however the children will require a packed lunch. Pizza will be provided on Friday unless otherwise notified.
